Vicar's Message

Dearly beloved in Christ,

Romans:14:17 says,"For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."

St.Matt:6:31 says, "So do not worry, saying,' what shall we eat?' or 'what shall we drink?' or 'what shall we wear?'

Jesus asking Peter, in St.John:21, more than the net, with which you catch the fish; more than your friends, with whom you try to define yourself;

more than the catch you get, with which you support your dreams. DO YOU LOVE ME?

Jesus, calling us to commit and submit ourselves to the Lord. Our Lord asking us not our ability but our availability. Today 'time' became more precious, 'time' became syno-nym to „dollar‟. Our Lord is asking this 'time' from us, and assuring us that He will give us much more dividend.

As an Edavaka Mission are we committed to the Lord? As a Sevika Sangham are we committed to the Lord? As Sunday School teachers are we committed to the Lord? As a choir are we committed to the Lord? As Y.F.F are we committed to the Lord? As Youth Fellowship are we committed to the Lord?

"You can win but the sting you create will diminish the fragrance of God"

Rt. Rev. Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom, in his speech at the triennial conference of the Students Christian Movement in India ended on this note, I quote, "When Christ lives in you, you hand over your life to Him. It is a total surrender. It is not your act, it is an act of God."

Our Lord is opening the „TRAIL‟ for us. Through unknown ways and unimaginable ways our Lord would able to lead us and that's the trail God mapped for us. Do you and I submit to the Lord? In giving our time for our Lord. How much time, we are giving for our Lord?

It's said about Mr. J.L. Kraft ,the founder of the famous cheese company, that during his initial days of business when he ride his horse from one place to another to sell the product of milk, cheese and butter, he used to share his grievances to the horse. But, that talk in no little time began to be focused to the Lord. He shared all his problems and pressures with the Lord. He said, though it's slow, the Lord heard and answered his prayers. And, he witnessed, that lead to his success in life. Let our Lord make us suc-cessful in our lives.
